Winter Engagement Session | Hannah and Alex | Joe Pyle Photography | Estes Park, CO

Hannah and Alex’s winter engagement session almost didn’t happen…

After several texts and emails trying to find a time when the mountains would be visible, we finally got out for Hannah and Alex’s engagement session on Lumpy Ridge in Rocky Mountain National Park. Between the late April snow, the cold, and the fog, it was pretty much “send me a text when the weather looks good today”, and we did! It worked out really well and we got some amazing photos to prove it.

These two came from Cleveland to get some of their wedding plans put together and solidify a venue. (They chose one of our favorites, by the way!)

Enjoy the pictures, and read on afterward…

In the Estes Park area there are many locations to go to for great pictures. I was glad that when we first met I could see the peaks of Lumpy Ridge from there. It was a clear indication that that’s where we should go.

TO FUTURE BRIDES:

We know that you have many choices when it comes to finding a photographer. Do yourself a huge favor and look at each photographer’s site and gallery. If you like what you see, awesome! If not, don’t hire them. It’s pretty simple. To be fair, if you don’t like the pictures you see from us, don’t hire us. We would rather you be very happy with your pictures in 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 years from now than for you to make a mistake you’ll regret. Thank you for checking out the blog post and stay tuned, there will be many more soon! Cheers, from Estes Park!
