Wedding at Copeland Falls : Micaela and Brian
We had the awesome honor of shooting a wedding at Copeland Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park this past weekend. Micaela and Brian are from Lansing Michigan and had a quaint, wonderful wedding with their close family in the Wild Basin area of the park. The weather, the company and the light were all perfect. They chose Estes Park because it was a central location for their families who are living around the US.
Everyone met in the Wild Basin parking lot and walked in with blankets, wine, beer, figs, and a few amazing charcuterie trays. I’ve shot weddings that are very structured and have a definite agenda with everything timed down to the minute. This was the exact opposite. This wedding was about being with great people and enjoying the amazing setting. No pressure, no gimmicks, no frills. Just hanging out and enjoying life together.
If you can’t tell, we all I hit it off immediately. I knew as soon as we met that we would be having a great time with these two, and I look forward to having them in our lives. I continually say this and I probably will for as long as we’re shooting weddings- we are so fortunate. To be part of these days and getting to meet so many great people is very humbling. Micaela and Brian are no exception.
The pics that follow are from our day with this awesome couple and their families. Enjoy.
