MICHELLE AND RANDY’S HISTORIC CRAGS LODGE WEDDING: JOE PYLE PHOTOGRAPHY : JOE AND KARI PYLE : DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN ESTES PARK, COLORADO
This Historic Crags Lodge Wedding has been on our “can’t-wait-o-meter” ever since I shot Michelle and Randy’s engagement session in RMNP last year. These two are kind, thoughtful people who care deeply about family and relationships, and it showed in their gorgeous wedding here in Estes Park.
For most of the weddings we shoot we are able to get pictures of the couple and the wedding party before the actual ceremony because of the “first look”. Michelle and Randy wanted these pictures before the actual wedding, however Randy did not want to see Michelle until she walked down the aisle with her father. This provided us with an interesting situation. All of the pictures that you see of them in RMNP were of Randy with his eyes either closed or looking away from Michelle! Yep, we spent a few hours driving around shooting and Randy never saw Michelle until she walked the aisle. Pretty cool!
From getting ready to getting their dance moves out, Michelle, Randy, their families, and their friends all orchestrated an amazing day at the Historic Crags Lodge. Kari and I were proud to be there with them all. Even after photographing for over ten hours, it’s very hard for us to call this “work” or a “job”. We enjoy every minute and it’s people like these two that make our work amazing. They were up for anything we could throw at them-even trekking across a snow capped mountain to get pictures in the high alpine! Enjoy the pictures from this beautiful Historic Crags Lodge wedding day in Estes Park. More to come…
