Freelensing and photography techniques
I re-posted a link a while back about freelensing from Sam Hurd . Pretty awesome stuff he’s doing over there, so I thought I’d try it out. Freelensing is when you remove the lens from the front of your camera and hold it there while looking through the viewfinder. You then move it around to get desired effects. It gives you the tilt-shift effect with much more control. The results aren’t consistent, but that’s what’s kinda cool about it. In our work it’s always a good thing to have more and more creative things to do while shooting. Here’s a few I just shot. Peace!
